Pacers is proud to support local and national elite runners. Through a partnership with Brooks, Pacers is able to sponsor several local elite standouts that represent the best in the area and who compete at the local and national level. Pacers is committed to the sport of running and to the restoration of American running as a competitive force at the international level.     Heather Hanscom
    Until recently moving to Palo Alto to train full-time, Heather Hanscom ran for the Pacers Racing Team as their top female competitor. Her accolades are numerous, including a first place female finish at the 2003 Marine Corps Marathon and an invitation to run for the United States in the 2005 World Championships. With a personal best record of 2:31 in the marathon, Heather is currently training for the 2008 Olympic Trials.
