Pacers Events, a division of Pacers Running Stores, is a diversified sports promotion, race management, finish-line and timing management, and events- coordination company, comprised of individuals with varied business, education, and sports backgrounds. We work closely with clients to ensure the success of their event and develop custom management packages that fit their individual needs and resources.

Pacers Events plays an integral role in the development, planning, and execution of several area events each year, including the George Washington Parkway Classic 10 Mile and 5K (2,500 participants), Arlington 5K Run to Remember (2,500 participants), and the inaugural National Marathon (2,000 participants). Pacers Events was also responsible for the total planning and execution of the Gulf Coast Relief 5K Run and Walk (4,000 participants), an event that was planned in just two and half weeks and received local and national media exposure.

We work with a number of organizations and businesses in developing and managing events, covering a wide array of non-profit entities, corporations, and business chambers and development groups. Our partners include the American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club of Alexandria, George Washington Parkway Classic Race Committee, The City of Alexandria, the Alexandria Police Department, the Arlington County Police Department and Sherriff's Department, Volunteer Bureau of Alexandria, Greater Washington Sports Alliance, Prince George's County Police Department, and the District of Columbia Emergency Management Agency, to name a few.
