About the Race

The 2nd Annual Gobbler Gallop 5K will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 9:00am. The race begins at Waterman Elementary School, 220 N. Maple St, Waterman, IL 60556

Packet Pickup

Pre-registered participants may pick up their packets at the Elementary School starting at 7:30am. Pre-registration fee is $20. Race Day Registration will be taken from 7:30am - 8:45am at the Elementary School; race day registration fee is $25.

Awards

The official Gobbler Gallop T-Shirt will be given to all pre-registered participants and until supplies last for same-day registrants. Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners, as well as the top three finishers in each age division for male and female.

Race Course

The course is a certified 5K course, certification IL-07084-JW (course map) that starts and finishes at Waterman Elementary School. The course winds through scenic village streets and is fully paved with mile markers for each mile. Water will be available at the start and 2-mile mark. A digital clock will be at the finish line, and Race Time Finish Line Management will be responsible for all the timing.
