Race Info
Join us for the first race of its kind on historic King Street! The race takes place on Monday, December 31st at 5pm. The run starts at Alexandria City Hall at 301 King Street and finishes just west of the King Street Metro Station. It is a chip timed event. The course is a point-to-point, flat and fast course.

Long sleeve shirt to all participants!Packet Pickup Packet pick up and late registration will be Sunday, December 30th from 12pm-5pm and Monday, December 31st from 10am-4:15pm at Pacers Running Stores. No packet pick up at start line; you must pick up your packet at Pacers. Bus transportation from Pacers to the start line will begin at 3:30pm; last bus leaves Pacers at 4:15pm sharp. Pacers is located approximately 2/3 of a mile from the start line. Requirements This race is limited to the first 200 runners. You must be able to run the mile in under 10 minutes. Absolutely no strollers, headphones, pets, or skates. Rules will be enforced. This run will be at dusk and will utilize street and storefront lighting; flood lights also situated along the course and with lead and tail pack. Reflective gear encouraged. Race Course USATF certified point-to-point course in beautiful Old Town, Alexandria. Run starts at Alexandria City Hall (301 King Street) and finishes just west of King Street Metro Station. Awards Cash prizes to top three male/female runners ($150/$75/$25). Merchandise awards to top male/female in each of the following categories: U-14; high school (14-18; three deep), 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59. 60+ High Schools Area high schools are encouraged to participate in the high school challenge. Awards to top three high school finishers (boy/girl), top boys team (top three score), top girls team (top three score), and top combined team (top two boys/top two girls). Spectators Spectators! Watch runners all along the course and at Pacers Running Stores (1301 King Street; corner of King & Payne). Pacers is located at approximately the 2/3 mark of the course.
