Dave Berver
Dave "Boog" Berver found running in 2006 as a means to drop a few pounds. He finished a local turkey trot, joined the Arlington Road Runners Club and has never looked back. Dave later became president of the running club and helped others find the fun and fellowship of this great sport. Dave has completed dozens of races at all distances, including the Marine Corps and Disney marathons. He looks forward to a busy 2010 race schedule with Pacers to keep his training on track, his weight in check and most importantly, to make a few friends and share the fun of running.
Dave is the Deputy Director of Digital Communications for the American Federation of Teachers in Washington, DC. He lives in Arlington, VA with his wife and 7 year-old daughter.
