Brad Byrnes


Brad Byrnes is an Alexandria native that enjoys racing distances up to the 10K on local roads and trails. He trains mostly with his student-athletes over at Bishop Ireton High School where he has been the cross country and track coach since 2004. Brad became a certified USATF Level 2 endurance coach in July of 2009 and he likes to share training and racing advice with anyone that likes to run. He also volunteers his time with the Boys on the Run club at Grace Episcopal Elementary School in Alexandria. In addition to running, Brad enjoys fly fishing, hockey and Belgian waffles.

Brad works as a federal police officer at the Pentagon and lives in Alexandria with Maizy, his English bulldog.
