Elizabeth Goldman
Elizabeth Goldman enjoys running races from the 5K to the marathon, but focuses most heavily on marathon training. Her running has brought her to cities all over the country (Phoenix, Miami, Houston, Memphis) and the world (London). She began running shortly after graduating from University of Virginia in 2000 as a way to keep in shape. She ran her first race five years later when she attended her college reunion and entered the 2-mile race that the University was holding for alumni. To her surprise, she won the female race, was given a metal cup and decided to participate in a local 10K the following weekend. Since then, running and racing have played a major role in her life. She loves to run because it keeps her active and continuously challenges her to push toward new goals.
Elizabeth is the Director of Marketing for a software company in Chantilly, VA. In addition to running she also enjoys playing the piano. She lives in Falls Church, VA and is engaged to be married in August 2010.
