Matt Haslinger

Matthew Haslinger is an endurance athlete from Buffalo, NY who loves half-marathons, marathons, triathlons and the occassional speed race. He has been training regularly with the Pacers Arlington Tuesday/Thursday Fun Run Group for the last three years, and is a sponsored athlete for Bear Naked Granola. In 2008, Matthew raised over $3,000 for children's cancer research and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center at the New York City Marathon. Last fall at the Marine Corps Marathon, Matthew qualified for the Boston Marathon with a time of 3:09:05. He is currently training for the National Marathon, the Boston Marathon and plans to participate in the JFK 50-miler in the fall.

When he isn't running, Matthew is a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice. He resides in Arlington - Courthouse with fellow ambassador James Whiteside. Matthew just recently got engaged to his beautiful fiance Danielle.
