Erik Price

Erik Price has always stayed active and enjoyed outdoor recreation, but has not always been a runner. After playing Rugby in college and settling into a sedentary office career a couple of years ago, he started jogging to stay in shape. While initially huffing and puffing just to make it a few miles he is now eying a Boston Qualifier marathon in 2010, thanks in large part to Pacers resources and training. He gets great satisfaction out of encouraging others to get fit and watching the progress of himself and those around him.

Erik works as an engineer at a non-profit company in McLean, VA. When not running he loves to travel, play guitar, snowboard and go hiking. He attended George Mason University and has lived in Northern Virginia ever since.

Favorite Race: Marine Corp Marathon - it was my first 26.2!
