Blair Riggs
Blair Riggs is a life long lover of sports and comes to running late in life. She ran her first 10K race in 2005 but really began serious training in 2008 when she join the B&RB (Alexandria Pacers) all-women’s running group under the Pacers training umbrella. Guided and encouraged by Sandy May and Zac Anderack, she spent the last running season training for and participating in many races, including 5K’s, 10 mile runs and half marathons, culminating in her first full marathon, the Marine Corp Marathon. Blair loves the camaraderie of training with an all-female group and the support garnished by the Pacers organization. She is also the Friday AM Fun Run leader at the Pentagon Row Pacers.
In addition to running, Blair has now set her sights on the Iron girl triathlon scheduled in the summer of 2010. She also participates in spin and yoga classes and weight lifting at her local community center.
Blair is a 20 year resident of Arlington along with her daughter who is currently a matriculating junior at the University of Tennessee. Professionally, Blair is senior designer for a DC interior design firm.
