Vanessa Taylor
Vanessa Taylor returned to running in 2008 after a ten year hiatus, and is thrilled to be back in this sport again. She ran her first marathon (National Marathon in DC) in 2009, and fell in love with the distance. Her greatest running achievement was qualifying for Boston at the 2009 Marine Corps Marathon. She is currently training for the Boston Marathon in April, which she is very excited about.
Vanessa is a graduate student in medieval history at the Catholic University of America. She is originally from Rochester, NY, which she visits as much as possible to see her parents, Doug and Judy, and brother, Ryan. When she's at home, she loves running on the historic Erie Canal, but also enjoys training around the nation's capital.
