Determined not to let this illness hold her back, BethAnn has continued to work full time for the United States Government and trained relentless after her first brain surgery in the spring of 2005 to complete the Marine Corp Marathon six months later. To further challenge herself, BethAnn has qualified for the Boston Marathon and will be running this year in April. She also campaigns for the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS), since being diagnosed with her disease, and has formed Team BT (sponsored by Pacers) to help raise funds for the annual Race for Hope in Washington, DC.
