Alexis Tressler

Alexis Tressler is a Pittsburgh, PA native (GO STEELERS) who has been living and running in Virginia for four years now. She loves to run and participate in local and national road races (anything from 5k-marathon), and recently became a coach with Girls on the Run of NoVA. Alexis ran her first marathon in 2007 and is currently training for the Shamrock Marathon in VA Beach in spring 2010, where her goal is to qualify for the Boston Marathon. She is also looking forward to doing a 200-mile race with her co-workers from Gettysburg to DC.

Alexis is a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton out of the McLean, VA office. Outside of work and running, Alexis also volunteers with Homeward Trails, a local animal rescue, where she and her husband Matt adopted their sweet 4 year pit bull, Velvet.
