Pacers is an active participant in the local running scene, and sponsors and manages several races throughout the year.


Arlington Police/Fire/Sheriff 9-11 Memorial 5K September 11 Run as an individual, on a team or for your military branch. Either way, this event is the perfect way to honor our fallen and remember the day we came together as a nation.

Run for the Schools 5k & 1 Mile September 12 Join the Falls Church Education Foundation for their annual Run for the Schools 5K held in conjunction with the Falls Church Fall Festival!

Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon September 19 Run the only race from Mt. Vernon to National Harbor! A beautiful race along the Potomac, this event takes you over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and ends in National Harbor.

Clarendon Day 10k/5k & Kids Dash September 25 The kick-off event to the Clarendon Day Festival, this events also hosts a free Kids Dash.

Activate Alexandria - Alexandria YMCA 5K Run/Walk & Kids Dash October 2 Get Your Move On Help Fight Childhood Obesity. Proceeds from the event will be used for programs/services to fight childhood obesity.

BOMF District Classic Track Meet October 2 The inaugural Back on My Feet District Classic Track Meet is a night of exciting races and family-friendly and fun field events. Proceeds go toward helping BOMF members get their lives back on track.
