Pacers Distance Training Program
Pacers Running Stores wants to help you reach your personal fitness goals. We have a host of programs and training opportunities for individuals looking for encouragement, coaching, and camaraderie. Pacers Running Stores offers programs for the beginner to the seasoned veteran and everyone in between. Utilizing the concepts and training philosophies of running legend and seasoned coach, Matt Centrowitz, our coaching staff will oversee your training from start to finish line!

Novice Distance Training Program
The Official Training Program of the Pacers Racing Series
Designed for the runner who is planning to run their first 5K, 10K, 10 miler, half or full marathon. Or, for the runner who is coming back after a long layoff and needs to get back into shape and build base mileage. This program is designed to get you to the finish line, or just get you fit, safely and comfortably. This is a six-month session; start anytime.
Ability: Beginner/Intermediate
Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays P.M. and Sundays A.M. with group
Price: $300 for the six-month session, or $75 per month
Includes:
Individualized coaching in a supportive group setting
Entry into your goal Pacers race
Free "In-Training” tech tee & race singlet

Intermediate/Advanced Distance Training Program
The Official Training Program of the Pacers Racing Series
A program for the runner looking to reach a new personal record, or tackle a new distance. Whether you are Boston-bound or just looking to break your elusive best time, this program will identify a strategy to reach your personal running goals. This program is designed as a six-month session; start anytime.
Ability: Intermediate/Advanced
Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays P.M. and Sundays A.M. with group
Price: $300 for the six-month session, or $75 per month

| OUR COACHING STAFF
Program Director/Coach: Bridget Bowers
Bridget Bowers is an assistant coach of the American University cross country and track programs. She holds a Master of Science in Health and Fitness Management and Health Promotion from American University, is a USATF-certified Level 1 coach, and a certified strength and conditioning specialist.


Consultant: Matt Centrowitz
Matt Centrowitz has coached for over 20 years; the last ten as head coach of the American University cross country and track programs. He was named Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year in 2005 and is a 9-time Patriot League Coach of the Year. In addition to his many collegiate coaching accolades, Coach Centrowitz has proven himself a top mentor of post-collegiate runners, including the development of three Olympians, nine sub-4 minute milers, and innumerable national rankings, Olympic and World Trials qualifiers, and personal records. Coach Matt is also the head coach of the Pacers Racing Team |
