It is Wednesday and we are back at it. Hope you enjoyed your long weekend and are ready for all of the week has in store for you.

For weeks and weeks we talked about, planned, and then ran the George Washington Parkway Classic. What is really great, and much appreciated, is when a runner shares how much they love an event; that is the moment we know we are doing our job. Thank you to Erika from MCM Mama Runs for Beer and Bling for your glowing post about running the Parkway.

On Thursday at Pacers Fairfax, there is a Gu Fun Run. What could be more fun then a run with friends and Gu? Also on Thursday at Pacers Clarendon Arlington Pain and Rehab will be in to help you with any running issues you may be experiencing.

As always, there are social runs from every store at a variety of times; check the calendar to find one that works for you.

This week on Pace the Nation, Farley, Docs, and Joanna speak with none other than Coach Jerry Alexander. Jerry contributes to the blog with Wednesday workouts, coaches Pacers//GRC- New Balance as well as the Northern Virginia Running Club. Jerry is a man that loves running and helping his athletes meet their full potential.
