2:24 pm || Crystal City 5k Fridays – CANCELLED

crystal city cancellation

After the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to postpone the Crystal City 5K Fridays Race Series, we are once again faced with a difficult decision. While we love racing with you, your safety has and always will be our top priority. Instead of postponing for later in the year amidst an already busy, and still somewhat uncertain fall season, the 2020 Crystal City 5K Fridays have been cancelled.

While we hope this series will return in 2021, with so many races being cancelled, we want you to be able to turn your entry fee into something NOW as opposed to waiting another year. As such, instead of deferrals into 2021, we are extending the following options to all registered participants:

1. Transfer your entry into another 2020 Pacers Event (see the full Pacers schedule for event info – including NEW virtual events, with more to come!)

2. Trade your registration fee for Pacers retail store credit for our online or retail shops (credits sent via email within 2 weeks of selection)

Please visit runsignup.com/Race/VA/Arlington/CrystalCity5KFridays to choose an option. Select your option, click on “Continue” and you will be asked to sign into RunSignup to verify your selection. NOTE: if you choose to transfer, you must select your option FIRST in the online form and then complete the steps to process your transfer or deferral through your RunSignup profile (if you have any trouble, please email [email protected])

The deadline to make your decision is August 31st. All registrants who do not make a decision by the deadline will automatically receive Pacers retail credits.

We cannot express enough our gratitude to the thousands of runners who choose Pacers Running every year. We hope you stay healthy and well, and are finding ways to get out there and keep running.

In this together,
Pacers Running
