Clarendon Day Cancelled
This course is seriously fast! From Clarendon, you will head downhill along Wilson Boulevard towards Rosslyn. There, the course flattens out a bit as runners proceed onto Jefferson Davis Highway/ Rte 110.
Both the 5k and 10k courses approach Arlington National Cemetery. 5k runners will turn around at Arlington Memorial Bridge while 10k runners will continue on past the Pentagon and will be treated to views of the Potomac River and the Air Force Memorial before turning around as well.
Consider walking or running back to the start (and stopping at Four Courts on the way!) or parking in Rosslyn or Courthouse (be mindful of parking restrictions).

On Course Support
Certain things you can’t do without. We have made sure to provide all of the necessities.
Water will be available at the Start and Finish Lines as well as a few points on the course. The first stop, for both the 5k and 10k courses, will be located just past North Lynn Street on Wilson Boulevard (~1.5 miles). Another water stop will be available for 10k participants along Route 110 near the Pentagon North Parking Lot and can be visited before and after the turn around (~3 miles and ~4.5 miles).
A convoy including police officers and a Race Crew member travel by motorbike to lead the race while another Race Crew member trails all competitors on bicycle to monitor for any irregular situations that may arise and require attention.
Medics patrol the course and are stationed at the finish to care for injuries or anything that requires medical attention.
And, we have port-a-potties at the Start and Finish Lines as well as near the 10k turnaround and water stop.
