Packet Pickup Details - early PPU starts August 21!!
For your convenience, packets will be able to be collected in the Clarendon Pacers location during regular business hours beginning August 21.
Before a race we need to pass along a few items to you and it is tough to pull that off an hour before the event. Visiting us in advance will help us make sure you are all set for race day. It is a good chance for you to ask any questions you may have and pick up any gear you might need. We often have packet pickup sales and otherwise try to make it worth your while to make the trip.
Please note that the packet pickup location(s) vary from race to race. So, be sure to double check where you need to go!
- Where & When
For convenience you will be able to collect your packet items beginning August 21 through September 21 during Pacers Clarendon regular business hours. If your Premium is a Charity Donation to the Wendy Martinez Legacy project of No Kid Hungry, sincere thanks. If you selected $10 Pacers Retail Bucks you can collect your certificate whenever you collect your Bib. If you selected a custom event Tee, you can collect your Tee as you get your bib and packet. If you are collecting your Tee on race morning, you will need to proceed to the Tee tent BEFORE race start to guarantee your selected size availability.

ON SITE, RACE DAY
Packet Pickup and Registration will be available on site the morning of the race starting at 7am, but will close 15 minutes prior to your race time. That means if you are participating in the 5k at 8am, packet pickup and registration will close at 7:45. Likewise, if you are participating in the 10k at 9am, packet pickup and registration will close at 8:45.
Race Day PPU will be at the Start Line located by the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and North Fillmore Street near Whitlow’s on Wilson.
To ensure you are able to register and collect your race bag prior to the event, we strongly recommend you attend the early packet pickup beginning August 21 or on Friday, the day before the race, at Pacers Clarendon.
- What to Expect
When you arrive at Pacers Clarendon, look for a special table manned by our friendly events staff and volunteers.
If there is a line, it should go fast. We use a dynamic bib assignment system which means all we need to know is your name and after confirming your registration, we will assign you a bib number on the spot. We won’t have to dig through a pile to find a pre-assigned bib. This definitely speeds things up.
We will give you a race bag along with your bib. Depending on whether you are taking advantage of Early Bib Pickup, your Premium choice will be available as described in Where & When above. Either process, your completed packet will include the Race Bib, your premium — a Donation Thanks, a race Tee or Retail Bucks — safety pins, and some promotional materials.
Be sure to save the bag as you will need it to check any personal items prior to the race at the bag check area. There will be a Bag Check area down the block and in front of United Bank where attendants will monitor your items if you leave them using the official race bag provided at Packet Pickup.
You may pick up a race bag or bags for other people. No ID is required.
