Packet Pickup Details
Before a race we need to pass along a few items to you and it is tough to pull that off an hour before the event. Visiting us in advance will help us make sure you are all set for race day. It is a good chance for you to ask any questions you may have and pick up any gear you might need. We often have packet pickup sales and otherwise try to make it worth your while to make the trip.
Please note that the packet pickup location(s) vary from race to race. So, be sure to double check where you need to go!

Advance Bib Pickup
For your convenience June 21 through the afternoon of July 21st you can collect your race BIB during store hours . If your Premium is a charity donation, sincere thanks. If you selected $10 Pacers retail bucks you can collect your certificate whenever you collect your bib. If you selected a custom event tank, you can collect your tank as of July 20 at Pacers Clarendon or on Saturday July 21 at the Clarendon store early, or at the race site in the evening. If you are collecting your tank on race night, you will need to proceed to the tee tent BEFORE race start to guarantee your selected size availability.
Race Day – early Pickup

On Site, Race Day:
Packet Pickup and Registration will be available on site in the start area –PPU will be located indoors in the Crystal City Shops, located at 2200 Crystal Drive, across the street from the start/finish area. Use the mall entrance between Cold Stone Creamery and sweetgreen.– the evening of the race from 6:30PM to 8:30PM.
But, to ensure you are able to register and collect your race bag prior to the event, we strongly recommend you pick up your packet in the 30 days leading up to the event at Pacers Clarendon.
- What to Expect
When you arrive at the store, please let a staff member know you are there to pick up your Twilighter race packet.
If there is a line, it should go fast. We use a dynamic bib assignment system which means all we need to know is your name and after confirming your registration, we will assign you a bib number on the spot. We won’t have to dig through a pile to find a pre-assigned bib. This definitely speeds things up.
We will give you a race bag along with your bib. Depending on whether you are taking advantage of Advance Bib Pickup, your Premium choice will be available as described in Where & When above. Either process, your completed packet will include the race bib, your premium — a donation thanks, a race tank or retail bucks — safety pins, and some promotional materials.
You may pick up a race bag or bags for other people. No ID is required.
We cannot hold complete packets but after the race there will be opportunity to pick up your unclaimed tank tees at Pacers Clarendon. See our Crystal City Twilighter FAQ’s for more details.
Included in Your Packet
Here’s the goods. Depending on whether you are taking advantage of Advance Bib Pickup, your Premium choice will be available as described in Packet Pickup Details – Where & When above. Either process, your completed packet will include your premium — (a charity donation thank you, $10 retail bucks or a commemorative tank) as well as the race bib with attached timing tag and safety pins. Also, depending on what we wrangle together, there will likely be various promo flyers and/or free samples.
Be sure to save the bag as you will need it to check any personal items prior to the race at the bag check area.
