Course Description

Start at Ireland’s Four Courts in Courthouse and head down the hill on Wilson Boulevard. You’ll cruise through Rosslyn and continue on Route 110 past Arlington Cemetery before turning around. At that point, you’ll need to ready yourself to climb the hill to the Finish Line!

This 4 mile race offers a tough route that will test your mettle! But, rise to the challenge, and there’s no better thrill. We’ll have a great celebration set up at Ireland’s Four Courts so you can revel in your accomplishment.

With scores of fellow runners clad in green and celebrating Irish heritage, you’ll have a supportive atmosphere to push you to the top. Get ready to do a jig across the Finish!

Start and Finish Line Details

The Start Line and Finish Line for the race race is directly in front of Ireland’s Four Courts at the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and North Courthouse Road. We will have a number of amenities set up in the area.

There will be a Bag Check station at the back of Ireland’s Four Courts where attendants will watch your items. You can either enter through the bar, or go around either side of the alley way entrance to the rear parking area.

The restrooms in the Pub will be available for last minute rest stops or you will be able to use port-a-potties outside.

Prior to the race, water will be available for filling water bottles. After the race, we will have further refreshments including bananas and granola bars.

After the race, be sure to visit our photo booth outside of the Pub and then head inside to enjoy post race festivities! You will be able to redeem a complimentary beverage ticket attached to your bib (Must provide ID). And, there will be live music and traditional Irish dancing.

On Course Support

Certain things you can’t do without. We have made sure to provide all of the necessities.

Water refill will be available at the Start/Finish Line area as well as a water station near mile 1 and mile 3.

Police officers lead the race while more officers and another Race Crew member trail all competitors to monitor for any irregular situations that may arise and require attention.

There will be Medics available on course to care for injuries or anything that requires medical attention. If you need medical assistance, please flag one of the many officers located at each intersection of the course OR ask for assistance at the water station.

Lastly, we have restrooms available at the pub as well as port-a-potties at the water station along the course.

We’re Looking Out For Your Safety

Lisa, our Race Director, makes no bones about it– making sure the race course is completely safe is our top priority. We have thought through all the details including providing cones, barriers, signage, and directionals so that the course is well marked and placing crew and volunteers so there’s help if you need it. We work closely with municipalities to ensure we have police and medical support always on hand. Our high standards ensure you can let loose and enjoy your run.
