No On Site Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will not be available on site the morning of the race.

To ensure you are able to collect your race bag prior to the event, we strongly recommend you attend the Packet Pickup events at Pacers 14th Street and Pacers Alexandria on Saturday prior to the race. See Packets for more details.

No On Site Registration

Registration will not be available on site the morning of the race due to restrictions imposed when hosting events on National Park Service sites (National Mall).

To ensure you are able to register and collect your race bag prior to the event, we strongly recommend you attend the Packet Pickup events at Pacers 14th Street and Pacers Alexandria Saturday before the race. See Packets for more details.

 

Bag Check

If you have gear you want to set aside prior to the race, we’re on it!

Use the clear bag check bag that was provided to you at Packet Pickup to stow your stuff.

We will have a sectioned-off, attended area on the north side of the Washington Monument.

Though we will have attendants monitoring the area, Pacers Running will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Please bring no valuables.

The Bag Check area will shut down at 11:00 am.  Any uncollected items will be taken to Pacers 14th Street. After one week all items will be donated.

 

Getting to the Race

Directions - Car

The Start Line of the event is held on the Washington Monument grounds located on 14th Street, between Madison Dr. NW and Jefferson Dr. SW.

Please refer to the map to find the best way to arrive from your starting point.

Parking

On street parking is available on surrounding streets. Do not park on 15th Street or anywhere on the race course.

 

Generally, is possible we recommend arriving by public transportation to avoid any issue with finding a place for your vehicle.

 

Directions - Public Transit

Metro is a great way to get to the event. Please note, however, that Metro opens at 8am on Sundays– depending on where you are coming from, this may not be conducive to arriving on time.

The Start Line of the event is held on the Washington Monument grounds located at the intersection of 15th Street, NW and Constitution Ave, NW.

Take the Blue or Orange Line to either the Federal Triangle or Smithsonian stations.

 

Metrobus Routes also serve the area. Please review the Trip Planner to select a route from your starting point.

 

Directions - Cycling/Walking

The Start Line of the event is held on the Washington Monument grounds located at the intersection of 15th Street, NW and Constitution Ave, NW.

Cycling is a great way to get there, and there are many bike facilities in the city to make it easy.

There are numerous Capital Bikeshare stations within close proximity to the event venue:

After the race, we encourage you to stop by any DC Shake Shack location to redeem the complimentary beverage ticket attached to your bib (Must be 21 for alcoholic beverage- bring ID) and sample some of their other tasty offerings. Their Union Station location has the most space– it will make for an ideal place to celebrate with friends or family!

The Annual Jingle All The Way Costume Contest!

Enter the costume contest with this new twist for 2018 – let’s win virtually!

Come run Jingle dressed as your favorite elf, Santa him/herself, or Scrooge but don’t worry, there is no need to stand out in the cold to see if you are a winner.

Make your way to the PhotoBooth and get some pics taken of you (and your group?) in your amazing costume(s).  (Show your race bib in there somewhere for easy ID!)

Tag @runpacers and use #costumewinter to publish your best pic and we will select winners via instagram.

Dress Up, Be Festive and Run the Jingle All the Way — but don’t wait around for the win. We can all warm up and collect great prizes later!   Awards will be presented for 1,2, and 3rd places in individual, pairs/couples, and group (3+).  We’ll contact winners and post all on Instagram and will have the award gifts available for pickup at a convenient Pacers location.

Bring Your Support Crew

We encourage you to bring family and/or friends to cheer you on as you take on the Jingle All the Way course! Handmade signs,  noisemakers, and the like should be the least they can do for you.

We suggest supporters look out for you at the Start and Finish line by the Washington Monument on 15th Street, NW. Or, there are countless other great vantage points along Independence Avenue or Ohio Drive.

Upon completing the event, stop at the Photo Booth to save those memories and then go as a group to Shake Shack for a post race celebration. With such a festive atmosphere, it is a great event for families!
