Join our free Run the District challenge to see who really runs the District.

It’s easy: register for our FitRankings challenge, link your fitness tracker (just about any one will do) and run at least five times- any distance and any where- between October 17 and October 31.  Run your miles alone, with friends, with us, or with any of the run clubs and crews who make DC the best place for running. Best of all? It’s free!

You can sign up at anytime through the challenge – just complete five run or walking activities between now and October 31!

To celebrate your runs, we are giving away 13 Run the District prizes all made up of goodies from our favorite DC businesses – foodies rejoice!

Three special grand prizes worth over $250 each will be awarded to the best social post, one lucky random participant, and the overachiever who logs the most miles during the challenge. The remaining 10 will be randomly selected from any participant who logs the required run sessions (five or more during the period).

Not one of the lucky winners? We’ll send a special gift to everyone who completes the challenge.

How to Register for the Challenge

  1. Register on FitRankings and sign up for the Run the District Challenge. It’s free!
  2. During the registration, you’ll connect your preferred fitness tracker. Track one track them all!
  3. Start running your miles and we’ll keep track of your progress here on
  4. Be sure to keep track of your FitRankings login to compete in future Pacers Running challenges.

To compete in our social media challenge, post a photo of you running your favorite District spot on Instagram using hashtags #ForEveryRun and #runthedistrict between October 17 – October 31.
